How AI Supports Giants of the North's D&D Content

Lately there have been some questions about the use of AI with some of our blog posts. We here at Giants of the North always want to be transparent and upfront with you about how we use AI. Don't worry - we're not letting robots write our adventures or anything like that! We do, howver, use AI to help with the day-to-day stuff like social posts, blogs, and newsletters...stuff we do not charge for! 

Let me be crystal clear: everything you buy from us is 100% human-made. Our adventures, sourcebooks, and campaign materials come straight from the hearts and minds of our passionate team real non-synthetic geeky folks who love D&D as much as you do. 

So why the heck do we use AI? 

Well for us, a small (very small) group of Canadian Dungeon & Dragons loving geeks, AI helps us produce resources more efficiently, allowing us to share tips, advice, and insights with our community more often. By using AI for these tasks it allows us more time to focus our creative juices for crafting the rich, immersive content you expect from Giants of the North. 

By letting AI handle some of our online communication tasks, our dedicated human team is able to focus on what they do best...creating those Giants of the North epic Dungeons & Dragons adventures, materials and supplemental content you've come to love! We think this strikes the right balance and allows us to embrace exciting new tools while protecting what truly matters...the human imagination, human creativity and human passion that make tabletop RPGs so very special and loved by us all!

So rest assured adventurer, Dungeon Master, curious onlooker, displacer beast owner, and bard wannabe, whenever AI contributes to our free content, we clearly label it in order to maintain complete transparency in our creative process. 

I hope this helps to explain our use of AI and why we are learning to embrace this budding technology to help focus our efforts on delivering the best Giants of the North experience (tuques and flannel shirts are optional!)
