- A pad of character sheets
- Rules pamphlet
- Foam insets
- 2 blank punchline cards to add your own
Two Ways to Play
Quick Mode
Only have a half hour or so to play? Trying to get a game in before the perpetually-late player shows up? In Quick Mode, you play a simple Cards Against Humanity-style game using the Setup and Punchline cards to crack jokes. The player with the best joke gets a point, and first to 10 wins! The rules are familiar, with a few twists and new variants to spice things up!
Dungeon Mode
In Dungeon Mode, the added rules transform the game into a dungeon-crawler, and turns the jokes into a combat mechanic. Slaying dragons with comedy!
The goal is to explore an ever-changing dungeon, racking up points and fighting monsters by making cringe-inducing jokes. Just like in quick mode, first to 10 points wins.
The game shifts from early cooperation to cut-throat chaos as it goes on, with each player fending off monsters, traps and each other! A little adventuring party in-fighting is good for the soul.
The Cards
Bards
In this game, everyone is a bard, and each one has a unique ability. Seduce monsters, steal points, screw over your opponents and more!
Bards use inspiration points to pay for their abilities, and can gain inspiration back by delving deeper into the dungeon and from certain Loot cards.
Loot
Loot cards give you strategic ways to defeat monsters or screw over your opponents. Items like the Double-Ender and the Spicy Novel can give you an edge, inspire you, or give you bonus points. Iconic Spells like Fireball and Counterspell can be aimed at monsters, or other players for some PVP action.
Dungeon
Starting with the Entrance card, you build out a dungeon on the table, placing cards wherever you want by matching up the arrows on the cards. When you find the Stairs, you shuffle the cards back up and go down a floor.
Monsters have all sorts of nasty abilities that mess with the rules each round, or straight-up kill you. They have a life total in the corner just like bards, and when they are killed you can take their Loot. Some Monsters get stronger as you get deeper into the dungeon, so keep a look out!
Encounters such as the Spiky Pit Trap or the Discombobulator add a temporary rule or deal some damage. Some are good, most are very bad.
Setup and Punchline
You make jokes using Setup and Punchline cards. The judge reads out a setup card and the other players play punchlines to try to fill in the blanks. The best joke gets you a point in both modes, and deals damage to the monster in dungeon mode.
NSFW Monsters
From iconic monsters like the Rust Monster, Goblin Horde and Baby Owlbear, to the NSFW nightmares like the Slobbering Gobbler, Scrotum of Doom, and Toilet Mimic, you are sure to have a laugh!
